Here’s what’s happening at LifeSource…

Building Fund Advances
!

We are now taking up two offerings each week during Sabbath worship: our regular tithes and offerings as well as a building fund. You’ll know it’s time for the building fund offering when the children are invited to circulate among the congregation receiving their contributions, usually right after our songs of praise. We believe that God has great plans for LifeSource in the future and we’re investing now. Don’t miss this opportunity to place your treasures in heaven. While our church budget continues to need your faithful support, giving to the building fund will ensure our ongoing plans to provide a permanent place to worship until Jesus comes.

LifeSource Secular Media Outreach Campaign
An unprecedented opportunity has opened for LifeSource to expand its outreach into the secular media through cable TV. By partnering with FaithHighway, the largest Christian media agency in the U.S., headquartered in Tulsa, Oklahoma, LifeSource has contracted to begin a special series of engaging television ads targeting the unchurched. With financial assistance from the Upper Columbia Conference, we’ll soon premier this exciting commercial package tailored exclusively to help LifeSource continue to grow. These engaging ads will be placed during prime-time in the Coeur d' Alene area at super-low rates on channels like CNN, CBS, The Discovery Channel and others. But we will need your financial help to keep moving ahead. In the coming weeks a special appeal will be made for your strong support during this two-year long campaign. Watch for more information in the LifeLINK eNEWS!

Sabbath Adult and Children’s Bible Classes Expand
Planning continues to develop added Bible classes for adults, young adults and small children on Sabbath mornings at LifeSource. In just a couple of weeks we will launch a new class for young adults (college age and twenty somethings) with the help of one of Randy Orcutt and Larry Toews. A new Cradle Roll class for ages birth-three years is also being organized by LifeSource Children’s Ministries and will be led by Jennifer Orcutt. Beginning in January, 2009, we’ll begin offering a team-led adult Bible class based on the Adventist lesson quarterly. Watch your worship guide and the LifeLINK eNEWS for more details!

Lake City Junior Academy Opportunity
Would you like your child to have an opportunity to receive a quality Christian education? The doors are open at Lake City Junior Academy, the local Adventist K-10 Christian school. As LifeSource has joined the school constituency for the 2009-2010 school year.  We want to encourage those of you who are looking for options to public school to check out this educational gem in our community. Principal Alan Sather and his team are eager to talk with you about the possibilities for you and your family. Contact Jo Conley at LCJA, 667-0877, to arrange an appointment. Jesus said, “Let the children come to me….” (Matthew 19:14)

Good Things Brewing at Rhino Cafe

The popular Rhino Café continues each week with its Sabbath morning assortment of refreshing beverages and delicious breakfast goodies in an inviting atmosphere. . While the café still does not charge for refreshments, it is now in need of your generous donations as it continues to serve you. The café’s hours are 10:00 a.m. to 10:50 a.m. We hope you’ll plan your arrival at the café so that you won’t miss our time of worship beginning promptly at 11 a.m. in Celebration Hall. The Rhino Café will be closed during the worship service. Questions? Contact Marty Johnson our LifeSource Hospitality Coordinator.

Pastor’s Bible Class
Bringing a first-time guest to church? Each Saturday morning, 9:40-10:30 a.m., Pastor Phil’s Bible class meets in the East hallway classroom. Current focus: “Book of Revelation: Peace by Piece.” Members and their guests are invited to this dynamic and engaging time of focused study and interesting dialogue!
