Our Core Values

Our core values represent the fundamental, non-negotiable principles upon which we base our decisions, methods and actions. These values are foundational to all effective ministries at LifeSource Community Church:
 
1. EVANGELISM ~ We believe that lost people matter to God and therefore ought to matter to us. (Malachi 1:11; Matthew 28:19-20, Luke 19:10; Revelation14:6)
2. COMMUNITY ~ We believe in becoming a loving, effective, proactive, relationship-based   community. (John 10:16; Matthew 19:14-15; 1 Peter 2:5;
Psalm 149:1; Acts 2:46-47)
3. DISCIPLESHIP ~ We believe that belonging to a functioning and healthy small group ministry is essential to developing “mature” disciples.  (Matthew 28:9-20;
Acts 2:42-47; Hebrews 5:13-14; Philippians 2:12-13)
4. PRAYER ~ We believe that we can do nothing without Christ and our full dependence on God. (Luke 18:1; Ephesians 6:18; 1 Thess. 5:17; Rev.5:8)
5. UNCONDITIONAL LOVE ~ We believe that every individual in every circumstance needs and deserves our respect, kindness and a demonstration of the love described in 1 Corinthians 13. (John 3:16; Deuteronomy 10:19; John 13:35;
Romans 5:8)
6. EXCELLENCE ~ We believe that God’s character and creativity reflects his eye for excellence. (John 1:14; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Psalm 18:30)
7. SERVICE ~ We believe that by following Christ’s example we look for opportunities to serve and minister to others. (Matthew 20:28; Galatians 5:13; Deuteronomy 11:13; Revelation 2:19)
8. STEWARDSHIP ~ We believe that God’s example of providing for a lost world and giving all He has to us in Christ is the ultimate model of stewardship.
